This client needed a cost-effective and efficient method for disseminating company policies and procedures. Hard copy documents are unwieldy to use and expensive to distribute to a large employee base. We felt that the manuals could be effectively distributed to employees as online help files from the company's intranet. Our solution was to create online files (for employees) and hard copy documentation (for management/legal requirements) from a single source. We linked all of the online files under one master table of contents and cross-indexed them.
